01 About ClosingCash

Homebuyers should not have to take on another project just to lower their closing costs.

ClosingCash grew out of a simple frustration: the chance to save was sitting on the Loan Estimate, but using it took more time and effort than most buyers could spare.

02 Where the idea came from

We knew some closing costs could be shopped. We still did not shop them.

We had bought homes before. We understood that a Loan Estimate could include services we were allowed to shop. But once the paperwork arrived and the closing clock started, we stayed with the providers already listed.

To shop, we would have needed to sort out which charges were eligible, find providers, request comparable prices, understand the quote terms, and find out what the lender required.

That was one project too many during an already busy purchase. So we did what many buyers do: nothing.

Later, when we saw how much the prices could differ, we realized the opportunity itself was not missing. The easier process was.

03 The idea

The savings opportunity was not the problem. The process was.

Buyers already had the right to shop certain services. What they lacked was a practical way to do it while everything else was moving toward closing.

We built ClosingCash to turn that scattered research project into one guided service: start with the Loan Estimate, find the costs worth shopping, and bring the buyer a usable comparison.

That idea became ClosingCash.

04 What the easy button means

Less work for the buyer. The same care with the closing.

ClosingCash brings the search, pricing, and comparison together so you do not have to build the process yourself. Your lender remains independent, and you keep the final provider choice.

05 Why Section C matters

Your Loan Estimate shows where you can shop. It does not do the shopping.

Section C identifies services you may be allowed to shop. It does not find providers, request prices, or organize a change before closing. ClosingCash was built for that missing middle.

06 Built for homebuyers

Three ideas guide the ClosingCash experience.

Make the opportunity easy to understand

Show buyers which costs may be worth shopping and what a lower price could mean.

Take work off the buyer's plate

Bring provider outreach, quote review, and comparison into one organized process.

Keep the decision with the buyer

Present useful choices without requiring a switch or choosing a provider for the buyer.

07 Our role in your closing

We make the shopping easier. We do not take over your closing.

ClosingCash has a focused role in the process.

We identify costs that may be worth shopping

ClosingCash focuses on eligible services from the Services You Can Shop For section of the Loan Estimate.

We search for lower provider pricing

When you tell us to continue, we contact matching eligible providers and request pricing for your closing.

Your lender remains independent

Your lender can apply its own requirements before a provider may be used.

You make the provider decision

ClosingCash organizes the comparison. You decide whether to switch and whom to select.

08 Privacy matters

Looking for savings should not require sharing more information than the process needs.

The normal Savings Scan is designed to read your Loan Estimate on your device. You confirm the closing-cost details used for the service, and later sharing is limited to the step you authorize.

09 What we want to change

Shopping closing costs should feel normal.

Homebuyers compare mortgage rates, insurance, inspections, and moving costs.

Yet many never shop the closing services their Loan Estimate says they can shop, largely because the process asks too much of them at the wrong time.

ClosingCash exists to make that choice practical.
